By Denen AchussahOne of Senator Gabriel Suswam’s aides, Michael Tivlumun Zendesha has said the senator is usually not bothered about names.
Suswam, former Benue State Governor is been referred to as the “Black cat” by Nigerian Concord newspaper, years after it was first used.
The name was first associated with Suswam, towards the close of his administration in Makurdi Government House. It was in hushed tones though.
Suswam served as Benue State Governor between 2007 and 2015.
However, Tivlumun, in an exclusive chat, while denying knowledge of “the exact feelings of the Senator towards the name because he hasn’t expressed his mind about the name,” pointed that “Senator Suswam is usually not bothered about such things.”
Zendesha uploaded a picture of Suswam, comfortably seated, on his Facebook story. It came less than 72 hours to the decamping ceremony of Suswam’s main challenger in the 2019 Benue North East Senatorial District election, Mimi Orubibi.
